We did indeed. Having seen a large number of files deleted, and not noticing
that they were all in the macref subdirectory, I, hmmm, panicked? Well, I
thought that someone accidentally began wiping out files from CVS, perhaps
in an attempt to fix a local problem (CVS _can_ be counterintuitive at
times.) Anyway, I was wrong, and I was promptly enlightened and assured that
the changes that were in the proecss of being made were both a) legitimate
and b) intentional :-)

Yes, we're good. Viktor thought initially the entire web page was
being wiped out of cvs, IIRC. I filled him in on the reasons for
removing that version of the manual. Anyway, there is no problem as
far as I am aware.

Oh, that reminds me - I should add a fix for 5.9.2 bug to get a new
html version of the current texinfo docs up - those should definitely
be the most current available, particularly given the new case
sensitivity stuff.
